Privacy policy
Your data
stays yours.
Short version: FRAMEKID has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. Your photos and projects stay on your devices. This page explains, in full, what little data is processed, by whom and why.

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer. For anything about your data, write to the address above.
2. The app
No account, no tracking, no ads
You use FRAMEKID without signing up. The app contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking tools and no social media plug-ins. We do not build profiles and we do not sell or share data for advertising.
Your projects and photos
Everything you make in FRAMEKID is stored on your device: projects, the photos and videos you add, your brand kit (logo, colours, fonts, handle), your own fonts and your feed plan. We have no access to any of it. The app only sees the photos and videos you pick yourself. When you export, the app adds the finished pictures or videos to your photo library, with your permission.
Cutting out a subject, film looks and every other effect are calculated on your device. Nothing is uploaded for it.
iCloud
So you can continue on another device, FRAMEKID stores your projects in your private iCloud. This is a service of Apple, which processes the data under Apple's privacy policy. The data sits in your own iCloud account; we cannot see or access it. You can turn iCloud off for FRAMEKID in your device's settings at any time.
Reminders
If you set a reminder for a planned post, the app schedules a notification on your device. Nothing about it is sent to us or to anyone else.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your name, your payment details or your Apple ID.
To check which purchases are active, the app uses RevenueCat, a service of RevenueCat, Inc., 1032 E Brandon Blvd #3003, Brandon, FL 33511, USA. RevenueCat receives a random identifier created by the app (not linked to your name or Apple ID), the purchase receipts Apple issues for it, your App Store country, the device model, the system version, the app version and, for the connection, your IP address. This is needed to give you what you paid for and to restore it on your other devices (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Data is transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. More: revenuecat.com/privacy.
Crash reports
If you have agreed in your device's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple passes on anonymous crash reports and usage figures. We use them only to fix problems. You can switch this off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
3. This website
Hosting
The website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical details of the request (time, page, browser) to deliver the page and to protect it from attacks. This is our legitimate interest in a safe, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Visitor statistics
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not follow you across sites; it only gives us totals such as page views and the countries visits come from. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
No cookies, no outside requests
The website sets no cookies. Fonts, pictures and videos are served from our own site; nothing is loaded from other providers while you browse.
Contact form
If you write to us through the form on the support page, we receive your name, your email address and your message, and use them only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The form is delivered by Web3Forms (Web3Creative, India), which passes the message on to us by email and protects the form from spam; for that, it processes your IP address and the data you entered, on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We delete messages when the matter is settled, unless we have to keep them by law.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply.
4. How long data is kept
Data in the app stays on your device and in your iCloud until you delete it or the app. Purchase data at RevenueCat is kept as long as it is needed to provide your purchases and as required by law. Server logs at Cloudflare are kept for a short time only. Messages to us are deleted once answered, unless the law requires us to keep them.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one where you live. The authority responsible for us is the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner (Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte), Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden.
6. Children
FRAMEKID is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly process their data.
7. Changes
If the app or the website changes in a way that affects your data, we update this page. The date at the top shows the current version.
